I listened to my first Sweet Surprise in 2009, and so began my commitment to the Siddha Yoga path and the teachings of my Guru. The transformation in my life has been profound with the support of the Messages and teachings from Gurumayi and through studying them with my study group.

Mantra japa has been such a great support for my meditation practice as well as throughout my day. I can hardly wait for A Sweet Surprise 2014. I look forward to listening and practicing with my study buddies and all the Siddha Yogis around the world.

Thank you, Gurumayi. And thank you to all who help make this Message available to so many!

When I discovered Gurumayi’s Message for 2013, it filled me. Mantra japa had been a difficult practice for me and I desired to improve. Deepening my practice of mantra japa has been a subtle battle all through the year—one part of me desiring to go forward and another part holding back.

During this time, through Gurumayi's teachings and constant presence, my inner receptivity and strength have grown, and also the consciousness of my divinity, accompanied by strong feelings of gratitude, contentment, and peace.

There is so much to discover regarding the practice of So’ham, which I had been given by Baba and which has accelerated again through the Intensive. I read and reread Baba’s book I Am That, fascinated by its clarity, simplicity, and veracity, inspired to come back to the Source.

It is our immense good fortune to have a Siddha Guru, who knows us and our needs. I can't imagine my life without my Guru's teachings. As I read about how A Sweet Surprise took birth, I experienced myself making a yatra, a sacred pilgrimage, and at the end of that sweet, powerful yatra, I reached the center, the Heart.

We are so fortunate to have Gurumayiji in our life. And in receiving the gift of A Sweet Surprise, we get a gift for each day and each moment of the year.

Thank you, Gurumayi.

I have always looked forward to receiving Gurumayi’s Message for the year on the first of January. Over time, I have put more and more heartfelt effort into exploring the Message for myself. It has always amazed me that the Message is truly for me and my development as a Siddha Yoga student.

This year, I have been contemplating what the Message might be, and thinking about what would be most helpful in my own sadhana. Last year Gurumayi give me the Message I needed the most, as usual. This year I am eager to again receive the gift of what I need most from my Guru.

I am eagerly awaiting Gurumayi’s Message for 2014. I feel especially blessed that this Message will be streaming live from Shree Muktananda Ashram.
