The Nature of Time

It was so great to find the first verse of my beloved Vishnu Sahasranama on the Siddha Yoga path website. I had actually recited the full text early this morning. Though I hadn’t done that for a while, I had a strong feeling in my heart to go for it today.

After quite an emotional day yesterday, reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama immediately brought me back to the experience of my divine Self—beyond past, beyond present, beyond future.

Oh, my beloved Gurumayi, I thank you so much! You are with me as the all-pervasive Self.

The recent study tools about the nature of time are coinciding with my meditation experiences. Ever since I received Gurumayi's Message for 2015, my meditations have felt timeless. I close my eyes and I seem to fall into a space of no time. It feels like I am floating in an ocean of space. An hour can go by and it feels like 15 minutes!

Thank you, Gurumayi, for these wonderful meditations!

After reading this, I am reminded of the temporal nature of this material world. Thoughts and emotions come and go, the body ages and is only a temporary dwelling. I feel at ease knowing what is truly important: to let go of all resistance and to embrace life in all its fullness. Life is truly a precious gift with great surprises.

Thank you, Gurumayi! I am grateful for your grace and guidance and for the Siddha Yoga sangham.

These words gave me a feeling of greatness and immense respect towards my own soul.

Thank you, Gurumayi ji.
