A Rangoli in Honor of Baba Muktananda's Mahasamadhi
Rangoli is a form of Indian folk art. These colorful designs are created at the entranceway of Ashrams, Temples, and homes as a way of honoring God, particularly at times of celebration. Rangolis can be made of sand, grain, flowers, and other natural materials.
In Shree Muktananda Ashram, sevites create rangolis in honor of Siddha Yoga holidays. This rangoli was created in honor of the 30th anniversary of Baba Muktananda's Lunar Mahasamadhi.
