The
early years of Tulsidas' life are filled with sorrow and hardship.
He becomes an orphan at a very young age and is forced to
beg each day for his food. People are very cruel to him, and
it is almost impossible for him to find food to eat and a
place to sleep at night.
One
day, a wandering holy man feels pity for the young boy. He
gives Tulsidas a statue of Lord Ram and advises the young
boy to make his home in the holy name of Ram.
