Narahari
Das can see that this young boy is very special indeed, so
he decides to instill in him all of his own knowledge and
love.
Tulsidas
begins to learn Sanskrit, the scholarly language of the scriptures.
Listening to his Guru recite in Sanskrit the story of Ram's
life, the Ramayana, young Tulsidas becomes filled with
devotion for the great Lord Rama.
Here
at Narahari Das' ashram, he vows to make the Ramayana available
to all people by translating it from Sanskrit into a language
they can understand.
