March 2 - 7, 2008In this advanced retreat held at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Boston, eighteen committed Siddha Yoga students will deepen their experience and understanding of the awakened Kundalini Shakti. Mahashivaratri, the auspicious time devoted to Lord Shiva and the repetition of the Siddha Yoga mantra, will be observed during this retreat. Throughout the six days, students will be guided by Gurumayi's teachings on Kundalini Shakti and will also engage with the book The Sacred Power by Swami Kripananda. In the powerful and disciplined atmosphere of the retreat, the daily schedule will include a balance of meditation, chanting, and hatha yoga, as well as periods of quiet study and reflection. The practice of silence will be an integral part of the retreat. There will also be interactive learning sessions in which participants explore and articulate what they’re learning about Kundalini Shakti through the Siddha Yoga practices, and how to extend this learning into their daily lives. The retreat will be led by Siddha Yoga meditation teacher Swami Kripananda. Rates:
