I Am His Humble Worshiper

The more I learn about the poet-saints of Maharashtra—these amazing beings and their legacy—the more I appreciate how Baba Muktananda and Gurumayi have made their teachings so accessible for Siddha Yogis.

Before, I wouldn't have believed that these kinds of human beings could exist. Now I not only believe, but I see them as my example to follow.

It is so touching to read about the moment when Namdev first realizes that there is nowhere that is not Shiva, and that it is through Vishoba’s instruction that he has been given this knowledge of nonduality. When I
read this text, tears came as I recognized that the same gift has been bestowed on me by Gurumayi.

I feel such gratitude for this gift of the Truth, expressed here through the compassion of my beloved Guru.

Thank you so much for this story. Reading it reminds me that, through my Guru's grace, I am already being held in the arms of God.

As I've read this story through the years, I've experienced many different things. Today I felt, “I want that—I want to experience that feeling of devotion in my heart!” I was crying a little, with joy and longing. And then I realized that devotion is already in my heart, expressing itself as this beautiful longing!

Thank you, Gurumayi.
