About Alka Jain

Alka Jain began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in 1989 after a close friend brought her to an introductory satsang at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Over the years, she has served as a translator and writer in the SYDA Foundation.
Alka has a bachelor’s degree from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India, and a master’s in architecture from McGill University in Montreal, where she was an adjunct professor. Currently, she works in the field of architecture and lives in Montreal with her husband, Rakesh, and their two daughters.
