Bhagya began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in Le Gosier, on the island of Guadeloupe, in 1989. She served on staff in the Music Department from 2002 to 2011, first in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, then in Shree Muktananda Ashram. She currently offers seva as a home and visiting sevite in the Siddha Yoga Music Department of the SYDA Foundation.

Bhagya holds a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the Institut Régional des Arts Visuels de la Martinique and works as a marketing and publications coordinator. Bhagya lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband.
