Bozena Palmquist began following the Siddha Yoga path in Wroclaw, Poland, in 1994. She hosted a chanting and meditation group in her home in Poznań, Poland, from 1996 until 2003, when she moved to the United States.

Bozena studied the economics of tourism at the University of Economics in Wroclaw. She now runs a business with her husband renting vacation homes in Oregon, where they live.
