Hari Om Sharan first received Baba Muktananda’s darshan in the early 1960s. A well-known composer, poet, and singer in India, Hari Om ji sang and created music for Baba. He visited Baba often in Gurudev Siddha Peeth and traveled with Baba on a number of his Teaching Tours in India.

Hari Om ji passed away in 2007, and the namasankirtanas and hymns he composed are chanted and sung by Siddha Yoga students to this day—including the beloved hymn Jyota se Jyota Jagao.
