Ishan Brodeur began following the Siddha Yoga path in 1986, after a friend invited him to an introductory satsang at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Montreal, Canada. He offered seva as an SYDA Foundation staff member for thirty-two years, from 1988 to 2020. During this time, he offered his skills in construction, maintenance, baking, and gardening. Ishan is also a Siddha Yoga musician, and he served as a vocalist in the music ensemble for many Siddha Yoga teaching and learning events, including the Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014—Satyam Shivam Sundaram.

Ishan lives in Granby, Canada, with his wife, Shridevi.
