Jake Slesnick is a Siddha Yogi who was born in Oakland, California. In 1984, when he was at the tender age of one week, his father brought him to the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland to receive Gurumayi’s darshan.

Jake’s love for music was awakened at a very early age, and when he was twelve, he began playing the mridanga. He has a great passion for offering seva, and over the years he has served as a drummer for chants in many Siddha Yoga satsangs.

Jake is a graduate of Boston College Law School. He practices law in Holliston, Massachusetts, where he resides with his wife, Pinki. Those who know Jake speak with affection of his kind-heartedness and enthusiasm for life.
