Jessie Murphy began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in 2001. As a visiting sevite at Shree Muktananda Ashram, she offers seva in the Products and Premotsava departments. She has also served in the Food Services, Taruna Poshana, and Siddha Yoga Music departments.

Jessie has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Columbia University, and a master’s degree in music education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She currently works as a real estate agent in lower Westchester, New York. She lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, with her husband, Rex, and their son.
