Joel Ujagar Kushnick began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in New York City in 1995. He currently offers seva in the Premotsava Department. From 1998 to 2007, he served on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram in the Music, Security, Food Services, and Shakti Punja departments. Joel also served as the host for the Global Live Audio Stream Satsang entitled Chanting Creates a Paradise in This World, during the Siddha Yoga Chanting Tour: Australia 2014.

Joel is a musician, composer, and cabinetmaker. He lives in New York State.
