Madhavi Mavillapalli was introduced to the Siddha Yoga path by her parents when she was eight years old. When she was growing up, her family hosted a Siddha Yoga meditation center in their home in Madras, India.

Madhavi served on staff in Gurudev Siddha Peeth from 1992 to 2000, and she currently offers seva there as a visiting sevite in the Halls and Accommodations departments.

She has a master’s degree in Indian Classical Music from Madras University and is a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She lives in Karnataka, India, with her husband and their son.
