About Madhulika Khandelwal

Madhulika Khandelwal began following the Siddha Yoga path in 1970 at the age of twelve, after accompanying her parents to Gurudev Siddha Peeth in India. An accomplished scholar, Madhulika has offered seva in the SYDA Foundation for more than two decades as a Hindi translator and transcriber and as a writer.

Madhulika holds a PhD in history from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is currently an associate professor of immigration and ethnic studies at Queens College, City University of New York. She is internationally recognized for her research on the impact of immigration in the United States and the changing dynamics of the global diaspora of South Asians. Madhulika lives in Queens, New York.
