Sandeep Knoesel began practicing the Siddha Yoga teachings in 1998. Between 1998 and 2010, he offered seva from home and as a visitor at Shree Muktananda Ashram. Since 2010, he has served as a SYDA Foundation staff member, first as a production project manager for events, including Sweet Surprise and the Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive, and, since December 2014, as the head of the Website Department in the SYDA Foundation. Sandeep also offers seva as a Siddha Yoga musician.

Born in Munich, Germany, Sandeep earned a PhD in physics from the Free University of Berlin in 1997. He taught physics for eight years as a professor at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, before coming on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram.

Sandeep is married to Sonam Nessier, who also offers seva on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram.
