Satya Celeste Stainton was introduced to the Siddha Yoga path by her parents in 1984, when she was born. Satya is a trustee candidate for The PRASAD Project, a philanthropic expression of the SYDA Foundation. She served on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram from 2007 to 2011; in that time, she offered seva in many roles, including as a global coordinator for the Siddha Yoga Music Department, management assistant for the Siddha Yoga Philosophy and Culture Area, and content producer in the SYDA Foundation Content Department. Since 2001, Satya has also offered seva as a Siddha Yoga musician, serving in Shree Muktananda Ashram, Gurudev Siddha Peeth, and the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland.

Satya is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She currently works as a writer and editor in New York City.
