Sunil Bahirat was introduced to the Siddha Yoga path by his parents in 1973 at the age of two. He has served in Gurudev Siddha Peeth for many years in varying capacities, including Teachings Manager and National Shaktipat Intensive Coordinator and as a member of the management team of Siddha Yoga Sangham of India. Currently, Sunil offers seva as a Siddha Yoga meditation teacher in Pilgrimage to the Heart Retreats in Gurudev Siddha Peeth and on the content and coaching team for these retreats. He also offers writing and research seva from home for the Content Department in the SYDA Foundation.

Sunil is the CEO of Ayurved Shikshan Mandal, a charitable trust that oversees an Ayurveda hospital and college in Pune. He is also a professional coach and facilitator. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Pune and a master’s degree in business administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Pune. Sunil lives in Pune with his wife, Sujata, and his parents.
