Letter from the Board of Trustees Regarding Winter Storm Nemo
Dear Siddha Yogi,
Beginning on Friday, February 8, 2013, and continuing through the morning of Saturday, February 9, a severe blizzard, Storm Nemo, swept through the northeastern part of the United States and Canada. Some areas in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York were blanketed with up to three feet (91 centimeters) of snow. Over 650,000 homes and businesses lost electrical power.
Sevites in the SYDA Foundation are in contact with the Siddha Yoga sangham in the regions affected by the storm. All the devotees who have been contacted are safe and unharmed. At Shree Muktananda Ashram in South Fallsburg, New York; the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Manhattan, New York; and the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Boston, Massachusetts, there has been no loss of power and everyone is safe.
Thank you to all of you who have been offering prayers and sending blessings to those affected by this storm.
With best regards,
SYDA Foundation Board of Trustees
