This morning, I was very curious to delve deeper into Gurumayi’s teaching “The prescience of time.” So, I began by looking up the meaning of prescience in the dictionary. I discovered that, in part, this word describes the ability to look far ahead in time and wisely foresee the development of future events and how to best provide for them.

The concept that stood out for me the most from this definition was one that I had not considered: wisdom. This, for me, means actively having and maintaining an awareness of what is occurring in the present moment in order to be able to provide for the best outcomes in the future. As a result of this contemplation, I experienced a very deep opening of my mind and heart. I felt joy at the good fortune I have to be able to best provide for my future time.
