For me, being “in alignment with time” means accepting change—letting go of what is no longer in my life and recognizing the value of the many gifts of grace in my life as it is now.

For example, I have let go of the joyful feeling of freedom in practicing hatha yoga in a young body, and I welcome the surprising gift of perfect stillness during an hour of meditation in an older body.

To go beyond change and keep my “alignment with time,” I must continually readjust my inner posture, remaining connected with my inner Self.

As I contemplated “In alignment with time,” I thought about the importance of having an energized yet relaxed postural alignment, and how my relationship with time could be more like that. I can be energized and respect my schedule, but not be tense about it. I can be more playful and enjoy my schedule.
