As I read this exposition, my attention was repeatedly drawn deeply inward. I felt my senses dissolving again and again into stillness, as the outer light faded into darkness, and an inner light illumined my awareness. While reading about Baba’s
samadhi shrine, I felt as if I were reverently entering that sacred space, and I could experience its vibrancy potently resonating in my being. Somehow, just by contemplating this holy site, I could palpably receive the grace that is stored there. What an incredible gift!
Shubh Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi!
Berlin, Germany
During a pause in an Intensive in honor of Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi in the 1980s in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, I was feeling a bit sad. So, I went to Baba’s Samadhi Shrine to tell him that I was missing him. As I offered
pranam on the floor, his voice said inside me: ”I haven't gone anywhere.” It replaced the sadness with love.

It was the evening before I was to leave Gurudev Siddha Peeth and return to the United States. I had a longing to visit Baba's
samadhi shrine, so I walked through the courtyard in the crisp night air. The doors to the shrine were closed, but I pressed my cheek and hands against them. This barrier was of no consequence, and I could feel the waves and pulsations of Baba's love. For a brief moment, I experienced a sense of weightlessness, as if I were no longer tethered by the earth's gravitational pull. I was free and immersed in the rapture of divine love. I felt the power of this holy place.
That was over twenty-five years ago, and the memory had become faint through the passage of time. This beautiful exposition has released the nectar of this experience again for me to contemplate more fully. I understand with greater clarity that Baba and his infinite love are not bound by time or space.

What a beautiful exposition! Reading it, I notice an alignment taking place between my heart and my mind. It helps me to open myself more to the depth of our path.
