Seeing Gurumayi laughing fills me with joy, and my being rejoices in its own beauty.
I am going through some challenging times right now. But today, seeing the photo of Gurumayi sitting on her chair brightened me up and inspired me to view the pictures of the Birthday Celebration again.

For me, the cake for Gurumayi’s birthday has always had a meaning or theme. This year, I noticed that the layers of the cake were decorated with the colors of the rainbow, from the base to the top.
The meaning this has for me is that no matter what country or culture we are from, the rainbow is a symbol of love, hope, and joy.

On Gurumayi's Birthday, a number of other Siddha Yogis and I gathered at the home of one of them to celebrate with chanting and meditation. We had bought a chair on which to place Gurumayi's photo. In choosing the chair, we were full of excitement for we wanted it to feel as if she will be sitting in it herself.
For this reason, when I saw the first photo in the Birthday Bliss Celebration Gallery, I was surprised and astonished, for I felt as if Gurumayi ji had been seated on the chair we'd just bought for her, when this photo was taken. It was a beautiful confirmation and affirmation for me that Gurumayi is guiding us from inside our hearts.
