I feel so blessed to be able to continue to watch Sri Guru Archana. I watch it regularly, and seeing Gurumayi offering arati to Bhagavan Nityananda is a great gift for me.

As I reflect on my own experience, I remember that when I offer arati with the awareness of my own divinity, I feel the light of the Guru's unconditional love welcoming me.

I can truly say that watching this beautiful arati has transformed my life and my being.

Jaya, Shree Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Melbourne, Australia

On the eve of Gurupurnima, in preparation for that exquisite occasion, I dedicated time to viewing Anukampa. As I viewed all the beautiful chapters, I became immersed in the sounds of each chapter and my mind became so present and receptive. Pretty soon the sounds surrounding me while I sat at my desk were no longer separate from the rising and subsiding of my own breath.

As Anukampa culminated in Chapter 11, Shri Gurumayi's Blessings, I was present to receive Gurumayi's teachings in a way I had not experienced before. It was like her teachings were blossoming up out of silence and dissolving into the light of my awareness, permeating my being.

I will continue to practice listening attentively with my whole being while noticing my breath, as a way to hear the soundless sound and experience the space of flawless quietude.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your Message for 2014 and for giving us the means to experience the all-encompassing, scintillating, velvety space of pure silence that is the foundation of all that exists.

a Siddha Yogi from Belo Horizonte, Brazil

I like the beginning of the video Naivedya when it was raining. I liked it when Gurumayi said that they broke the coconut by the lake and that is exactly when the rain came! And when she said, "How come you don't have your umbrellas?" I liked when she danced with the little baby. I felt devotion, joy, contentment, love, silence, and trust when I saw that part. I really appreciate Gurumayi and what she does.

Inspired by Gurumayi’s poem “Travel Deep Inside”:

I have traveled deep inside
Beyond forgetfulness
Beyond sloth
Beyond thought

I have traveled deep inside
With still mind
With open heart
With tears in my eyes

I have traveled deep inside
To be with my Beloved
To be with the One without a sound
To be just me in the vibration of the unstruck sound

I have traveled deep inside
To my true home
To my experiences of the Absolute
To the knowing that there is always
More to learn,
More to experience,
More to give.
For the soundless sound
Pervades my entire being,
Pervades this entire universe.
And in its stillness, in its flawless quietude,
I rest with my Guru in the love within.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

For the past eight years, I have offered seva in Shree Muktananda Ashram as part of the team baking Gurumayi's birthday cake. This year, a few days before her birthday, I was in the dining hall just before lunch when Gurumayi walked past me. For two or three seconds afterward, I felt a state of being that I recognized as the state of the atman, the Self. I truly felt that God was walking in front of me. I believe this is the state that Gurumayi lives in and that I am striving for. My experience, though brief, was so powerful and complete that I feel confident that the state of liberation is indeed possible for me.

Then, on her birthday, after the naivedya ceremony, I was offered a tiny portion of the slice of cake that Gurumayi had held in her hand. As I put the piece of cake in my mouth, I was so choked up that I could barely speak. I became so overwhelmed with waves of love that I excused myself to go to a private room where I cried in joy with my whole being for several minutes. It was so beautiful.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for giving me this prasad.

a Siddha Yogi from South Carolina, USA

I have been watching the Anukampa videos daily, and each time I learn something new. When Gurumayi held the little baby in the video “Offering of Food,” I felt I was the baby in Gurumayi's arms. And then later, when the little girl, a toddler, ran up front to be near the chanters, her mom stepped forward to retrieve her. Gurumayi gently put up her hand indicating, “It's fine—she can stay.” As Gurumayi gazed at the chanters, I felt she was also gazing at the little girl, who was just being a little girl, and didn't appear to notice Gurumayi's gaze. I felt I was that girl, always protected and watched over by the Guru.
I feel I am always being held by Gurumayi. She is always watching over me.
Thank you, Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from District of Columbia, USA

I have heard the soundless sound as I bring my hands together in namaste in Gurumayi’s presence.
I have heard the soundless sound in my tears of devotion and gratitude.
I have heard the soundless sound in Gurumayi’s laughter, in my laughter, the laughter of the people I am with, and the laughter of children.
I have heard the soundless sound in the sound of each mantra recited during Anukampa.
I have heard the soundless sound in Bade Baba's face and in the movement of the flames when Gurumayi offered him arati.
I have heard the soundless sound in Gurumayi’s words.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for inviting us to celebrate your sacred birthday with you.

a Siddha Yogi from Mijas, Spain

Anukampa is perfect satsang! This morning I decided to participate in Chapters 5-7 as a part of my practice and then I went about my daily duties. In the evening while I was away from home, I recalled Chapter 6, Shri Guru Stuti, and I began chanting Om Bhagavan mentally.
What a blessing! Thank you, Gurumayi, for celebrating Birthday Bliss with all the Siddha Yogis everywhere.

a Siddha Yogi from Ulhasnagar, India

I am so grateful to the SYDA Foundation for providing this webcast so that I am able to see and share in Birthday Bliss—Anukampa, this sacred and blissful celebration of Gurumayi's birth.

I feel so blessed to have met Gurumayi in my time on this earth and receive her blessings and teachings. During this past year, I have been acutely aware of her divine protection and grace in so many areas of my life. When I chant Shri Guru Gita, I think of her divine glance and sweet smile. At times I want to cry out of joy and thankfulness for her love and grace.

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi. My love and gratitude to you increase each day.

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

Today, as I viewed the videos on the website with my four-year-old daughter, my heart opened up wide and I could feel God’s love flowing through me as we sang Jyota se Jyota Jagao together. Thank you, Gurumayi, for reminding me that you are never far away. It is just a matter of perception and perspective. Thank you for graciously opening up my heart when I had forgotten how much love there is all around us.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

What silent sound do I hear? The silent opening of the sacred heart embracing the whole universe—Gurumayi's blessing to us on her birthday.

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

I have begun each of the past few days by viewing a chapter of Birthday Bliss—Anukampa, and pausing throughout the day to view others. This practice has allowed me to understand and experience how present the Guru's grace is at all times.

This morning, I was particularly touched by how alive Gurumayi's Message for 2014 became for me as I watched Chapter 1—Avahana. Listening to the sound of AUM, I experienced quietude. In the arising and subsiding of the waves, I heard the soundless sound. I experienced the soundless sound of the rising sun. Through the movements of the dance of worship, I experienced the flawless quietude within and treasured the soundless sound of gratitude arising from my heart.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for these experiences of your Message through sounds, images, and worship. Thank you for teaching me how to see the Message manifest in everyday life. I feel blessed.

a Siddha Yogi from Belo Horizonte, Brazil

My heart is filled to overflowing with gratitude for this rich, rich gift of darshan, dancing, children's laughter—and all the manifestations of our lives of worship and service. What a glorious privilege it is to be immersed in the grace of the Siddha Yoga Gurus—and to be connected so directly through the Universal Hall.

a Siddha Yogi from Toronto, Canada

I really feel Gurumayi’s presence in my heart by participating in the Anukampa chapters on her birthday. I always feel I am connected to Gurumayi no matter how far apart we are physically.

Chanting Om Bhagavan with Gurumayi reawakens my past experiences of her grace and love. Certainly, the Guru is the grace-bestowing power of God.

Thank you so much, dear Gurumayi, for your grace, your love.

a Siddha Yogi from Tokyo, Japan

As we celebrated Gurumayi's birthday, so many of her teachings came to life for me through the chapters of Anukampa! I experienced abundance, openness, freedom, mastery, generosity, easiness, joyfulness, humility—and the list goes on and on. It was as if Gurumayi were saying, "Here, this is how the virtues manifest themselves in action." I felt the energy of virtues that are very familiar to my heart, and also those that are beginning to blossom. I know myself better from this experience—and I feel incredibly blessed for having the grace of Gurumayi’s presence in my life!

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your innumerable gifts to us on your birthday!

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

My heart was soaked in gratitude by receiving Gurumayi's darshan and being part of the Universal Hall. I was transported back to my years of offering seva in Shree Muktananda Ashram and Gurudev Siddha Peeth before embarking on the householder way of life as a wife, mother of three, and career woman.

I was reminded of the times when I heard Gurumayi share her intention that one day, through the medium of technology, the global sangham would receive the Siddha Yoga teachings wherever they lived.

Today, my heart and mind are full of gratitude for the Guru's far-seeing vision. Today, I can share what is closest to my heart with my family. Nothing happens without Shri Guru's will and divine intention. Everything at the right time, with the right people as instruments.

Thank you to the many sevites in the Content, Multimedia, IT, and Website Departments for your skills and creativity in bringing Gurumayi and the Siddha Yoga teachings to us so beautifully!

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your love and generosity in including us in the Universal Hall. With a most happy heart, pranams!

a Siddha Yogi from Washington, USA

After watching all 11 chapters several times, it dawned on me that all of the chapters emphasized offering. In each event, the focus was offering and worship. I realized that Gurumayi is teaching us, so beautifully, how to perform all of our actions as offerings, with love and respect.

a Siddha Yogi from Arizona, USA

As I finished enjoying the videos and came to the end of Chapter 11, Shri Gurumayi's Blessings, my head bowed and one overwhelming thought filled me: "Baba, thank you for this precious jewel!”

a Siddha Yogi from Pennsylvania, USA

Since the day of Gurumayi’s Birthday Celebration, my heart has been filled with love and gratitude for Anukampa. I feel as if I am still participating in the celebration with my body, my soul, my whole heart. I experienced Gurumayi’s presence and my presence with Gurumayi in the tianguis (open market) where I went to buy fruits and vegetables and felt God´s love all around, in the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center of Guadalajara, and in my home with my family.

I feel so deeply moved, knowing that all around the world the Universal Hall contains so many blissful souls feeling the same thing, and offering God’s love to the world through seva, their blessings, and their loving and joyful hearts.

What a great time to be living in this world having such a great Guru, who travels the entire world every day, entering our homes and giving us so many glorious blessings.

Gracias, gracias, Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from Guadalajara, Mexico

Magnificent. The word arose immediately to describe my experience of the day at the conclusion of Chapter 11. My being vibrated with gratitude, quiet, and peace. It was a perfect experience of participation in our beloved Gurumayi's Birthday and immersion in the Siddha Yoga practices, connected all across the planet in a beautiful garland of joy and blessings.
Contemplating Gurumayi's poem, I understand that an aspect of the Soundless Sound is the inner nudge, the prompt, the wisdom that arises in meditation practice. After 26 years on this unfailing path, the unfoldment continues and is ever new. We are connected in the heart, always.

a Siddha Yogi from Texas, USA

Having just revisited the Anukampa videos of Gurumayi's Birthday Celebration, I am filled with love and gratitude.

In Chapter 10, as Gurumayi walks into Nidhi Chauk (and the Universal Hall) beaming with joy, dancing, and holding a baby, my heart fills to the brim with love. Sitting here alone at night with my computer, I am laughing and my eyes have tears in them. I join the devotees who are singing and honoring Gurumayi, thanking her for incarnating at this time.

How blessed we are!

a Siddha Yogi from Melbourne, Australia

Thank you, Gurumayi, for the experience of Birthday Bliss—Anukampa. Together with my wife, children, and parents, I watched all eleven chapters. We chanted Om Bhagavan together, and we sang Jyota se Jyota Jagao and the Happy Birthday to Gurumayi song. Watching Gurumayi in action is so blissful and full of teachings. Gurumayi's graceful arati to Bade Baba stood out for me.

A smile comes over my face watching Gurumayi. So much mahaprasad from Gurumayi through the video chapters.

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi. We send our joy to you.

a Siddha Yogi from Thane, India

Gurumayi's blessings are so powerful that I could not resist and slipped into meditation at my desk. My mind is still, and the room is filled with the soundless sound.

Yes, now I know the soundless sound is the inner voice that guides me in everything I do in my life. The soundless sound is the reverberating energy in Gurumayi's words. The soundless sound is within me and everywhere around me.

a Siddha Yogi from Thane West, India

Yesterday, late at night, I managed to finally log on to my computer and watch nine chapters. I thought that was all. My heart was so excited I could not go to sleep thinking about Gurumayi, and the love I could feel emanating from every detail and effort to make this celebration a worldwide celebration.

I decided to watch them again today, and I received the best surprise— Chapters 10 and 11. I totally melted, crying with joy.

I am so blessed to live at this time, with Gurumayi as my teacher and such an incredible sangham to support the Siddha Yoga mission. I feel very united to all right now. I feel light and free.

Gurumayi, feliz cumpleaños lleno de dicha. Que tu luz continúe iluminando más allá del tiempo y el espacio. Gracias. Te amo.

a Siddha Yogi from Valle de Bravo, Mexico

I feel fully blessed and fortunate to be able to see Gurumayi for the first time live through the videos. I felt great joy while sharing her celebration with all. I am grateful to have had the chance to see all the beautiful forms of worship, the children, and the sevites. I feel rich and content.

Thank you so much, Gurumayi, for sharing your Birthday with us.

a Siddha Yogi from Querétaro, Mexico

We have all had the great good fortune to have Gurumayi's darshan in the Universal Hall, in the deepest depths of our own hearts. I feel so grateful. "Aaz uttama sudina zhaale darshan satanche..." My heart is leaping and singing with joy! Ah! The soundless sound must definitely be the sound of the heart whispering the Lord’s name!

Janmadin ki khoob khoob badhayiyan Gurumayi! Saprem namaskar.

Beloved Gurumayi! Pranaam.

a Siddha Yogi from Mumbai, India

Thank you for bringing me to Gurumayi's birthday celebration. Being with Gurumayi, sharing her joy, lifts my heart. So generous, so kind! To be with Gurumayi as she personifies the virtues is a model of how I can be in my life. To remember and reflect on the experience of Anukampa is a boon. A soft vibration of love is filling my being as I dive deeper into Gurumayi’s Blessing for all.

Thank you, my Gurumayi. Thank you all for this.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

When I saw the dancers joyfully offering their graceful movements to Ganesh in his divine garden, I had a wonderful spontaneous meditation experience. It was as if I had personally witnessed that same kind of dancing ages ago in some heavenly world along with many other celestial beings and gods. At that time, I was captivated by the devotion and love of those celestial beings dancing gracefully for Lord Ganesha in his divine garden full of light and all kinds of marvelous wonders. I felt Lord Ganesha's immense compassion and love for everyone there at that moment.

Seeing that same vision here on Earth at my beloved Guru's Ashram melted my heart.

a Siddha Yogi from Magdalena Contreras, Mexico

Thank you, Gurumayi, for being so present with us. Yesterday in the Siddha Yoga meditation center, we celebrated your birthday. It was amazing how strongly I felt your presence. And now, seeing these chapters of Anukampa, I realize that you were actually there with us.

Thank you for all your blessings and endless love. Thank you for your presence in my life!

Happy Birthday Bliss!

a Siddha Yogi from Guadalajara, Mexico

For sure, the soundless sound is Gurumayi's voice that speaks only blessings. As the Irish poet William Butler Yeats wrote, "I hear it in the deep heart's core."

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

The day of my beloved Guru’s Birthday! A day of grace and celebration, full of mantra, satsang, seva, and mahaprasad. The vibrations of the celebration spread from Shree Muktananda Ashram throughout the world. From morning to night, I stayed in constant touch with the Siddha Yoga path website. My joy and bliss multiplied as the Anukampa chapters were added one after the other.

I experienced my Gurumayi's love and blessings enormously—her respect for Bhagavan Nityananda, the humility radiating from each of her actions, her love for Siddha Yogis all around the world. My Gurumayiji is unique on this wonderful planet.

Thank you, Gurumayiji, for sharing Anukampa with all of us. Thank you for Birthday Bliss 2014. Happy Birthday, Gurumayiji!

a Siddha Yogi from Basamathnagar, India

I am watching and listening to the chapters of Anukampa, and I am deeply and palpably moved by Gurumayi's compassion and love for her devotees. She brought the entire Birthday Bliss celebration to Siddha Yogis around the world via the Siddha Yoga path website.

Each chapter feels like a sacred and profound offering to Gurumayi, and also a sacred and profound gift from Gurumayi. Anywhere we were yesterday and anywhere we are today, we can participate in the glory of the Guru and share in this magnificent celebration.

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

As I listened to the Shri Ganesha Vandana on this Birthday Bliss day, I felt a sense of freshness and jubilation. The beautiful eyes of Shri Ganesha seemed to pour out anukampa—benevolence, grace, and compassion. The verse that most resonated with me was the reassurance that Shri Ganesha will always point me toward the right path.

Then it dawned on me that the trunk of Lord Ganesha curls toward the left over the heart. The benevolent Shri Ganesha always points a devotee toward the heart—the right path, the only place to find bliss.

Dear Gurumayi, you have ignited a candle in my mind yet again. Happy Birthday!

a Siddha Yogi from Sydney, Australia

What a beautiful gift Gurumayi gave all of us around the world with Anukampa. The tremendous love, joy, and gratitude shining on every face made my heart sing, and my being was filled with the dancing spirit throughout. Happiness filled me, seeing everyone there so full of laughter as they celebrated with Gurumayi. It was a festival of grace and devotion.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for bringing all of us so near to you. I felt I was actually there in every chapter. Your giving is beyond the beyond, and awakens me to give my all to you.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

My heart swelled with joy while singing the birthday song with everyone. With the guidance of a true Guru like Gurumayi, I promise to pass through all 21 layers with unwavering devotion and to attain liberation. I am blessed and blissful!

Thank you, Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from Thane West, India

I feel so much respect, so much trust, so much love in this experience of Anukampa in the Universal Hall. With each video, I experience fresh inspiration to continue walking the path with devotion, seva, gratitude, and a happy heart.

Today, I dance for God. What a gift! Gurumayi is in my home with Shri Ganesha, and I dance. What a joy to be alive!

Thank you, Gurumayi, for everything. I love you.

a Siddha Yogi from Nantes, France

Waves and waves of blessings have been coming our way to celebrate our Gurumayi's birthday in the Universal Hall. How amazing to be able to participate in the celebration!  I am completely awed. I feel so fortunate to be able to see Gurumayi and Bhagawan Nityanda, and the whole beautiful celebration.

I was very touched when Gurumayi was speaking to her devotees in India and thanking them in Hindi. I felt she was talking to me.

Dearest Gurumayi, I offer flowers to your lotus feet and wish you a very Happy Birthday.

a Siddha Yogi from Williamstown, Australia

My heart is dancing with joy and filled with tremendous love as I watch Shri Gurumayi sing and dance in the elixir of bliss. Each moment watching Gurumayi is like entering my soul.

How fortunate we all are to have a Guru in our life who is inspiring us every moment with such wonderful gifts and blessings.

Each video generates enormous amounts of shakti. I feel I am falling in love with my Guru, this universe, and myself all over again and again and again.

With a heart filled with gratitude for the infinite blessings, I wish you a very Happy Birthday, Shri Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from New Delhi, India

Viewing Avahana, the Invocation, early this morning before starting my daily activities, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the dance—the beauty of the forms, shapes, and movements. I loved how the forms and movements danced so perfectly with the sound of the ocean waters, the shining beach, the flowing in and out of the gentle waves: the stillness within the movement, the silence within the sounds.

Thank you for dancing on that beautiful beach. Thank you for dancing in my heart.

a Siddha Yogi from Maine, USA

This morning when I entered the Universal Hall and participated in Anukampa I savored every word, every note of music. My room was filled with an extraordinary fragrance. I felt the strong presence of Gurumayi and the entire sangham

The moment I saw chapter 1 of Anukampa, I knew this was a gift beyond all gifts. Beloved Gurumayi, my gratitude for your love shines forth. This Birthday Bliss celebration is so exquisite, all the way down to the very last detail! I feel like I'm in a fairy tale of lush gardens and secret wisdom.
I am so profoundly grateful for the Siddha Yoga path in my life. Gurumayi, your deep devotion and love of God ignite all of our hearts. I send oceans of light and love to you. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this divine experience into the Universal Hall.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

As we celebrate the anniversary of Gurumayi’s magnificent birth, she has given us so many amazingly wonderful gifts. The gifts of Mother Nature that I especially received today were a glorious, full-arch rainbow of colors in the sky as I took a brisk morning walk. Then I continued my walk by the seashore and the crystal-clear water made me reflect on the clarity that Gurumayi’s teachings have brought to my spiritual practices.
All I could think of on this auspicious day was "It's my Guru's birthday!" and my heart jumped for joy. This month of celebrating Birthday Bliss via the Siddha Yoga path website has allowed me to feel that I'm personally participating in Gurumayi’s birthday celebrations for the entire month of June even though I'm not physically present at the Ashram.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you, my beloved Gurumayi, for the gifts that we all have received! We honor you for opening our hearts to love, to God, and to the Guru.

a Siddha Yogi from North Side Village, Anguilla

Last night, I experienced an irrepressible urge—to dance!  Although I had not set foot in a dance class for twenty years, my feet and my heart pulled me inexorably toward the nearest dance studio, where I signed up as a drop-in student for the class of the day—in hip-hop. Trained in classical ballet, I had never performed steps like these, but as I moved to the music, sheer delight arose within me. I did not want to stop.
When I saw the beautiful offerings of the dancers on the website today, my heart soared. Thank you, Gurumayi, for showing us how dance can serve as a form of worship and can connect us all in a joyous divine celebration. And thank you to the gorgeous dancers.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Maryland, USA

Today, the Siddha Yoga chanting and meditation group here on Maui celebrated Birthday Bliss by chanting on the beach. During the chant the clouds covered the sun. As soon as we went into meditation, the sun appeared, and I felt illumined by the Guru's grace. I felt Gurumayi's presence kindling the light inside of me. It was truly blissful.
After a few minutes passed, the clouds again covered the sun and I still felt the warmth of the "flame" illumined inside me. It was like Gurumayi telling me that I always carry this light inside. Moments before the meditation ended, the sun (which I again experienced as Gurumayi) appeared again and it was as if she were saying that she is always there with me—and the light within is always there.  It was truly magical, blissful, joyous.
Thank you, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Hawaii, USA

Upon waking on Gurumayi's birthday, I opened the Siddha Yoga path website. Anukampa appeared and I began to view the chapters. What a glorious way to welcome the day, at dawn, with the dance that invokes Shiva and the five acts of Shiva!

We celebrate the birthday of our beloved Gurumayi with scripture as dance set in nature. How perfect!

Thank you, Gurumayi. Thank you to all the dedicated, talented website sevites.

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Vermont, USA

What beautiful gifts Gurumayi has given us on her birthday!

I feel that I am still in the Temple, and even though I am not watching the video right now, I am feeling the pulsations of love in the temple of my heart.

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Sydney, Australia

As I chant and watch my beloved Gurumayi in the Temple, suddenly the idea that she is there and I am here—that sense of distance—falls away. All sense of separation falls away, all sense of lack falls away, and there is only this one great Heart.

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from New Hampshire, USA

As I receive the blessings of Gurumayi, I realized that this whole world is the Ashram, and the Consciousness that is God is everywhere.

I gathered some flower petals and offered them to the sweet winds of Maine today and I experienced that they fell at the feet of Gurumayi. She has opened our hearts and the mystery is so beautiful.

Thank you, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Maine, USA

Happy Birthday, beloved Gurumayi!

Your benevolence, grace and compassion flow to the world every day. However, on this most auspicious day, your birthday, I feel I’ve been fully awakened to this through your precious and generous gift to the world—Anukampa.

I went to sleep last night bathed in the elements of the first three chapters, experiencing a still and peaceful mind and a strong pull to meditate. This morning, my mind continues to feel still and peaceful, and now my heart is experiencing the love and joy at seeing your magnificent form, and having your darshan and the darshan of Bhagavan Nityananda in the Temple.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for teaching us again and again how to enter our own heart to experience the bliss of the Self.

a Siddha Yogi from Perth, Australia

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi! This morning I got up and looked at your photo, and I felt something grace-filled and pleasant. I could not attend satsang here in India today because of my exams, and I was very disappointed. But when I saw these videos, I felt that you were right beside me.

a thirteen-year-old Siddha Yogi from Dombivli, India

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi. You are in my heart, the place where distances are nonexistent.

a Siddha Yogi from Mersin, Turkey

To remember you, Gurumayi, and to love you every moment of every day are what give me the greatest joy. But today is extra special—the day you were born. The flame of love you have so generously kindled in my heart dances in ecstasy to celebrate your birth and your being. On this supremely auspicious and sacred day, I pause to acknowledge your benevolent grace, infinite love, and compassion.

O my beloved Sadguru, I bow to you in all directions with tears of joy and gratitude. Thank you for everything.

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

Last night as I was falling asleep, I heard the sound of ocean waves. I wondered where that sound was coming from. I looked at my electronic devices to double-check, but they were turned off. I closed my eyes and the sound of the ocean was present again.

Again and again throughout the night, I would wonder where the sound of the ocean was coming from. Ultimately, I realized it was a divine sound and treasured it as I fell asleep.

Imagine my great delight to hear the same sound and see the beautiful beach and gentle waves this morning in the invocation posted on the Siddha Yoga path website!

Happy Birthday, beloved Gurumayi! Thank you.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

Happy, happy birthday, Gurumayi,
As I awoke this morning in anticipation of celebrating the Guru's birthday, I realized I had been dreaming of Gurumayi for several days now—that she had come to me in my sleep, smiling and playful. So it was with great delight that I awoke and listened to the haunting sound of the conch, followed by the joyful dance in honor of Ganesh. I reminisced about the little girl that was me long ago dancing in just the same way—with pure joy, freedom, and love of life.
Thank you, Gurumayi. Thank you for the gift you have offered in reminding me of that which lies within—joy, freedom.

a Siddha Yogi from Melbourne, Australia

Who would have thought that a website could serve as such a vehicle for grace? Thank you, Gurumayi, for your vision and your intention to include us all so intimately.

I’ve been asking myself what it is in particular that makes me feel so touched today. I’ve discovered it’s because I feel personally included in the celebration. Although I’m geographically distant from Shree Muktananda Ashram, I feel connected. This is astounding to me. I feel the Guru’s compassion so sweetly. Through all the contemplation this month, my heart has expanded to be able to drink all this in. Again, I’m astounded at the power of the Guru’s sankalpa.

Thank you for your blessings, Gurumayi.

a Siddha Yogi from Massachusetts, USA

a Siddha Yogi from Georgia, USA

Here it is Gurumayi’s birthday and yet again she gives and gives and gives. What a glorious life we have with Gurumayi in it. We are all so fortunate! And what a beautiful gift she has bestowed on us, from the light of the crescent moon to the light in the faces of the dancers and all the sevites—and beloved Ganesha looking upon us with such love through those enchanting eyes. I can only imagine what is yet to come throughout the day. Such grace!
Thank you, Gurumayi, again and again! I wish you so much joy!

a Siddha Yogi from Arizona, USA

Anukampa. Here in Gurudev Siddha Peeth we have come to the end of this most special day. Today, we have Gurumayi’s Birthday, filled with great delight! Throughout the day, I have experienced Gurumayi’s benevolence, her grace, and her compassion through the Siddha Yoga path website and as we engaged with the Siddha Yoga teachings and practices.
I have felt Gurumayi’s presence tangibly in my heart and all around me, and now my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I see the same reflected in the Siddha Yogis around me. This has been a day, a month, of millions of blissful moments!
Happy, Happy Birthday, Gurumayiji! I love you!

a Gurukula student in Gurudev Siddha Peeth

As I awoke this morning listening to the beautiful birds singing outside my window, I was filled with gratitude for this auspicious day, the birthday of my beloved Gurumayi! I was excited to see what was posted on the website, and as I watched each posting, I was immediately drawn inside to that space of flawless quietude.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for the many ways in which you are opening my heart to your love and grace, over and over again!

a Siddha Yogi from Hawaii, USA

I awoke this morning at 7 a.m. here in California to find three gems already strung on the garland of Anukampa. I'm in awe at the generosity of my beloved Guru. As I watch these chapters, I feel and know the depth of my own Siddha Yoga practices and my own love for the Siddha Yoga path. I connect deeply to my devotion to Shri Gurumayi, which is ever strong, ever present, ever dancing in my being.
All I want to do on this day is offer gifts and love to Gurumayi, and she keeps giving to us in the form of Anukampa. Anukampa has illumined my day. This is a most precious gift. I can't wait for my kids to wake up so I can share with them this treasure of Gurumayi's love!

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

The dance, the invocations, the worship, the music, the immersion of the senses in a sublime panoply led me into a state of ecstasy. My inner garden was flooded with sensations that intoxicated me, and tears of love streamed forth. I was overcome—delightfully so.

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

Gurumayi is the most important in my life. She gave me everything that I need. I feel her everywhere. I feel her love in everything.
My lovely Gurumayi, when I hear you singing, I feel you are there near me. I wish you a very Happy Birthday!

a seven-year-old Siddha Yogi from Dombivli, India

O Shri Gurumayi, though the illusion of space may appear to separate us, and the illusion of time appear to change us, you dwell in my heart, ever close, ever new, in every moment—ever One.
Jai Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Florida, USA

I wanted to buy flowers for Gurumayi on the special occasion of her birthday. I walked down to the regular flower stall, but it was closed. I thought to myself, "Perhaps Gurumayi wants me to walk that extra mile to find the flowers." So I decided to walk to a distant marketplace where I knew I would surely find a flower vendor.
When I reached the spot, I found that the vendor had not set up his stall. I thought, “Perhaps Gurumayi does not want these external gestures. Perhaps she wants me to dwell in the inner bliss of the Self." No sooner had I thought this, than I found another open flower stall stocked with beautiful fresh flowers! I bought the flowers and, as I walked back, reflected on the whole experience.
Perhaps Gurumayi wants us to do both. Perhaps she wants us to dwell always in the joy and bliss of the inner Self, and at the same time, to walk that extra mile for the sake of all that is meaningful and beautiful in the world.
Happy Birthday, Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Kolkata, India

Wow! How the Beloved's face multiplies! I see Gurumayi's face in the faces of each of these dear sevites in the Sevarpana video.
In watching their absorption in their tasks, their focus reaches my own heart like a fragrance, and I experience the truth of Gurumayi's words: they give me the experience of God. Indeed, seva "creates a pond of nectar," a ceaseless circle of giving and receiving, both within and without.
What a blissful adventure this day is becoming!

a Siddha Yogi from New York, USA

On Sunday, in the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland, we held the Birthday Bliss Celebration Satsang in honor of Gurumayi's birthday. At the beginning of the satsang, we sang—together with Gurumayi—the bhajan by Kabir Nacho Re Mero Mana Matta Hoi, "Dance, my heart, dance today in ecstasy!"
The joy and beauty of that poetic bhajan are beautifully reflected in the Avahana posting. My heart immediately joined in the dance as I  quietly repeated Nacho re mero mana matta hoi!
Thank you, Gurumayi, for the ocean of grace I swim in every day, for the golden rays of your teachings that inspire my mind to know God, and for your unconditional love and compassion that envelop every moment of my life.
Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday, my beloved Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

With every Birthday Bliss video, I can feel the stillness at heart of all the beautiful movements. I look out my window and I see nature is sparkling on this Birthday Bliss day. The trees, flowers, birds and breeze are all dancing so harmoniously, but the feeling is one of stillness.
In the Shri Ganesha Vandana video, the dancers mingle with nature in the garden so well that their dancing around those benevolent eyes of Lord Ganesh enhances my inner feeling of calm and stillness. It's like a living yantra. In between watching the videos, I look for a long time at Gurumayi's yantra, and feel the same dancing—in toward the still point and out towards the dance of life.
I am grateful and awed that Gurumayi gives so much so that I can see how life can be danced in and out from the still point of inner bliss. What a wonder to have a Guru who teaches through such beauty!
Happy Birthday, beautiful Gurumayi!

a Siddha Yogi from Maryland, USA

I am swimming in an ocean of delight. Seeing the scenes of seva, I am touched and remember my experience of offering seva, the expression of love so pure. It's a truly delightful feeling. I've experienced again and again that seva IS a pond of nectar—it feeds us and uplifts us. It offers transformation in unexpected ways. It ignites the flame of the heart and leads us on the path to liberation.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for the great gift of seva. Thank you for your infinite grace. "I have come to your garden clad in the color of love." And thanks to all of the sevites who are pouring their love into Birthday Bliss.
Happy Birthday Bliss to all!

The beginning of the new day—with the vibrations of AUM against the backdrop of the vast ocean and blazing sunrise—was as deep and stilling as the dance form itself, depicting  the silent yet stunning joy of a new birth. A new dawn. A new beginning for all.
The invocation of the blessings of Lord Ganesha was so joyful, as though he himself were dancing in all his stillness, acknowledging the birth of our Beloved on this awesome day!

A: On the Siddha Yoga path website homepage!

Each day as I leave my home, I view your picture and ask you to join me, and when I return home, I thank you for accompanying me. You are the reason that I find beauty and acceptance within. I send all my love to you on this special occasion. ¡Mil Gracias!

a Siddha Yogi from El Tigre, Venezuela

The sevites in Chapter 3, Sevarpana, are glowing with love. Seva has tremendous power when one offers it with great humility and devotion. I have had so many great experiences when I offered seva in a Siddha Yoga Ashram and when I offer seva where I live.
I have learned from offering seva that the act of giving with no expectation has to come from within my heart. Seva has changed me and made me feel very close to my Guru.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for teaching me the meaning of seva.

a Siddha Yogi from Johannesburg, South Africa

Happy Birthday, Gurumayi! You have transformed me into a better human being. You have given me the bliss of seva and the most sublime experience of knowing and feeling your presence and God´s love in my heart.
Thank you, my beloved Guru.

a Siddha Yogi from Mexico City, Mexico

The sound of the conch penetrated my mind and stilled it completely. I felt that God was asking for my attention. The ethereal dancer by the ocean looked like God herself—a beautiful and captivating drop of Shiva nectar. Her dance and movements were otherworldly. I felt as though I had caught God celebrating the mysterious gift of the Guru—our Gurumayi.
Happy birthday, Gurumayi. I love you! Happy Birthday Bliss to everyone.

a Siddha Yogi from Georgia, USA

Watching the Adoration of Lord Ganesha, my senses are led back to their source. The dance tickles my awareness into delicious presence. Through myriad colors my eyes are connected to the gaze of the Witness. My ears feast on the tinkle of bells, the resonant tak-a-tak of the drum, the ahhh of the voice, immersing my being in vibration. The whish of the dancers' silks, spinning in motion, brush my own skin with a mother's embrace returning me back to harbor.

All these details of God's creation vibrate in my heart, delighting and uniting, dissolving the boundaries between individual and community.

Together in the Universal Hall, we taste Birthday Bliss.

a Siddha Yogi from California, USA

Wow! I love the way the shakti reveals my expectations by bringing me more than I could have ever imagined. What beauty! What fun!

The celebration is reminding me of the aphorism from Shiva Sutra "The Self is the dancer." I sense Anukampa embodying this sutra and revealing the bliss of the Self. And I am reminded of a song I used to sing to my children many years ago: "Turning and turning, we come round right. We will be in the valley of love and delight."

This is going to be an exquisite day in honor of our Guru.

a Siddha Yogi from Massachusetts, USA

Thank you, Gurumayi,
showing the way to

Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday, dearest Gurumayi.

The fragrance of your birthday, dearest Gurumayi, is sunshine, green grass, cool breezes blowing off the ocean, grace-filled movements and salutations, the benevolence of Shri Ganesha's gaze, and the exquisite swaying of branches humming in the breeze. It is birdsong, the nectar of moonlight, the glory of the rising sun. It is the sweet gaze of the dancer and the beauty of rhythmic gestures and movements that circle with joy and gratitude.

It is all this and so much more. Your birthday is heaven on earth, Gurumayi. Thank you, Shri Guru, for living amongst us and loving us so.

I awoke with sweet anticipation of seeing Anukampa on the Siddha Yoga path website. How splendid it is to see the same crescent moon rising twice—first through my window and then in this video. My heart leapt with joy to see it. We are truly in one Universal Hall!

The ocean, dancer, the sunrise, music—already I am meditating.

My Beloved Gurumayi, Happy Birthday! Thank you for all this generosity and beauty.

a Siddha Yogi from Arizona, USA

A dance of awaking and offering salutations to our beloved Gurumayi. We are celebrating each day and night, Gurumayi, with your teaching and your presence in our Heart.

Since this morning I've been repeating tasmai shrigurave namah. And as soon as I started the first chapter and heard Viju Amma singing this, my heart started dancing and tears of love rolled out.

My heart is full of love and joy.

Happy Birthday, my beloved Guru.

a Siddha Yogi from Sydney, Australia

I have been waiting for this day, Anukampa, for a month! Today, I feel happier and more enthusiastic than I do on my own birthday. I refreshed my posture, meditated for ten minutes, and then watched Anukampa Avahana. The sound was so pleasing, as if it were coming out from my own body. My mind was calm and deep respect was streaming from my heart. The sunrise was also taking place in my heart. For a while, after watching this video, I found myself again in meditation.

Whenever I say "Happy Birthday" to Gurumayi, there is an immediate reply of "thank you" in my heart and the smiling face of Shri Gurumayi appears in my mind.

Thank you, Gurumayi, Dhanyavad Gurumayiji.

Salutations to Shri Guru!
