Michael Karlin

Michael Karlin has served as an SYDA Foundation trustee since 1988 and as the Foundation’s treasurer since 1996.

In 1981, following five years as a tax accountant for Ernst & Whinney, Michael became a founding partner of Nigro, Karlin & Segal (currently Nigro Karlin Segal & Feldstein, LLP) in Los Angeles, California. Currently the fifth largest accounting firm in Los Angeles, NKSF specializes in providing accounting, tax and business management services to entertainers and professional athletes.

Michael received a BS in business administration in 1976 from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and completed his MBT in business taxation in 2009. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Motion Picture & Television Fund.

Michael began practicing Siddha Yoga in 1984 in Los Angeles, California.
