As I participated in this meditation session, I was able to let go of my anxious thoughts and began to experience a delicious awareness of peace and joy rising within me. As I contemplate the experience of meditating on the words of Gurumayi's Message, I can still feel a deep stillness resonating within my being.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your love and your grace and for the unfolding of this year's Message.

Today I took part in the Meditation Session “The Guru’s Words lead to the Madhya.” After the exercise focused on the Guru’s words I noticed that, without having moved my body, I was sitting in a much more grounded way, with the whole foundation of my body on the floor. And my state had changed. I felt relaxed, easeful, and enjoyably content.

I thought to myself, well, maybe bliss doesn’t necessarily mean dancing on one leg and throwing my arms into the air in ecstasy. Maybe it can be feeling easeful and content. My concept of what bliss should be like has changed. I want to be more attentive to subtle sensations of my inner state.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your words, which have led me to this insight, and to a very pleasant state.

During the meditation in Meditation Session V, as I repeated Gurumayi’s words, I felt the same movement of Kundalini energy in my body that I do when I repeat Om namah shivaya in meditation. I experienced first-hand that the Guru’s words are truly like mantras.

Through Meditation Session V, I felt as though I was being taken into another dimension of my awareness, a place where I felt grounded, loved, guided, and protected, a place I am beckoned to return to again and again through any of Gurumayi’s words from any of her talks. My repertoire of pathways to the madhya has expanded. Gurumayi, you have given me so much choice. Thank you!

I found that the session was charged with shakti from the second that it began and I went straight to the heart of my being and into a profound silence and deep peace. Engaging in the practice we received in the session stabilized me in the experience of the Self within.

This Session: Amazing! Truly amazing.

Gurumayi’s Message:

Move with steadfastness
toward becoming
anchored
in Supreme Joy

The Guru's Words Lead to the Madhya-- how explicit, and wonderfully rendered.

It is very helpful to remember the power that carries the Guru's words. I experienced connection with the Guru; her words resonate inside with special energy and purity.

Immense thanks to our beloved Gurumayi for giving us these tools to expand, and to grasp her beautiful Message for 2016.
