A Sweet Surprise was held from January 1 – March 15, 2012. This Siddha Yoga Audio Satsang was dedicated to the celebration of the 50th Anniversary—the Golden Anniversary—of Bhagavan Nityananda's Punyatithi.

The Siddha Yoga teacher for this event was Swami Vasudevananda.

A Sweet Surprise is held at the start of each new year in Siddha Yoga ashrams, meditation centers, and chanting and meditation groups and by webcast on the Siddha Yoga path website.
