To celebrate Baba’s lunar
mahasamadhi I have been looking attentively at the sky every night as I waited, hoping to take a special picture of Baba's full moon. However, the sky is covered with dark clouds in Montréal tonight. So, I decided to look at Baba’s Moon Photos to experience the full moon through the eyes of Siddha Yogis around the world. When I opened Gallery III, there was a divine surprise: Gurumayi holding the full moon for me to see.
Thank you so much, Gurumayi, for making Baba’s full moon visible to me on this auspicious day.

Over the years, I have taken such delight in looking at Baba's moon photos. This year, once again, I find the sets of photos honoring Baba's
mahasamadhi truly breathtaking and, in many cases, so mysterious. They remind me of my understanding that Baba is indeed everywhere.

I had planned to celebrate Baba’s
mahasamadhi as a holy day of chanting and meditating, yet I got sidetracked by some daily activities and concerns. Then, seeing the photo of Gurumayi with Baba’s moon touched my mind and heart, and washed away all my distractions.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for your presence. And, thank you, Baba, for your life.

Last night, before going to bed, I enjoyed looking at these lovely images of Baba’s moon. When I awoke early this morning, the rays of the moon were sifting through my bedroom curtains, and I hurried to draw them open, to welcome this light. But then I was stopped by these words within myself:
“Why not feel Baba’s full moon in my own heart?” Turning my awareness to my heart, I felt them—the rays of Baba’s moon, bathing my being in perfect peace. So I did not open the curtains, but sat, then and there, to meditate, to be with the radiance of my own heart.
My thanks to Shri Guru, who reveals God’s radiance in the world around me and within me.
