February Nature Gallery IFebruary Nature Gallery IIIFebruary Nature Gallery III

On the Siddha Yoga path, we acknowledge the presence of the Divine in all of creation—and this divinity is revealed in myriad forms in the natural world. The beauty and wonder we find in nature can inspire us, as seekers, to recognize the beauty within us and everywhere around us.

The Nature Gallery contains photographs taken in the wondrous environs of Shree Muktananda Ashram, where Gurumayi currently resides. The Ashram is located in upstate New York, surrounded by expansive forests and rolling hills, brimming with wildlife. Take your time as you view the gallery. Allow the images to transport you to the serene stillness of the Guru’s abode, and let nature’s splendor connect you to the splendor of your own great heart.

I love the February photo gallery; it shows me there is beauty in nature, even in the depths of winter. It connects me to my inner beauty and uplifts my heart. It’s my morning satsang.

While I was viewing the photos in the February Nature Galleries, I understood that this vast universe is full of complexity and simplicity, with the gentle grace of the all-pervasive chiti protecting everyone and everything. The galleries also inspired me to recognize the splendors of nature early in the morning through the windows of my home, and when I go for my morning walk.

Thank you, Gurumayi ji, for providing us with such a wonderful tool to go within.

In the nature photos I viewed this morning, I could see and feel the silence of the truth in every image. I found that same silence inside myself, as well as the love and poignancy of gratitude. That for me is satsang—leaving behind the chatter of the mind and connecting to the silence of profound truth.
