Nature in Shree Muktananda Ashram II

Taking in these images of nature, I am awed at her constancy and commitment, her discipline and unconditional dedication, in combination with her flexibility and adaptability. These photos offer me a meditation on the Self. My mind becomes still and steady, my focus drawn within, while the outward creation is all perfection.

Maine, United States

The photo of the glorious golden sunrise radiating through a lush forest of trees reminded me that no matter how many challenges life may throw at me, God's divine light always shines through them, showing me the way.

I really love to visit the Nature in Shree Muktananda Ashram gallery every day. The photos still my mind and bring a smile to my heart.

Among these images, I paused and focused on a photo of Gurumayi smiling. As I held my gaze on her smile, I felt as if flowers were showering from the sky and everything was covered and protected by her love and grace. When I return to this photo, my heart fills with devotion and sparkles with a sense of freshness each time.

There is something magical in these photos. I see a light that goes deep and keeps the heart warm. It reminds me that there is so much perfection, love, and balance in nature, and I understand that everything is going to be perfect, no matter what.

This experience gives me a new perspective and also reminds me to observe nature around me in the present moment. On my way to work every day, I have started to witness amazing landscapes and colors, mountains that I had never noticed with a light coating of snow, captivating light, trees blooming, grass growing, and flowers reaching out to make my day just perfect!

How is it possible to transmit so much love through pictures? Of course, they are beautiful pictures, but there is something more.

As I was viewing them, my heart started to dance. Quietly at first, as if waking up from a deep sleep. But as I was delighting in the glorious trees, the whiteness of the snow, or the pathways through the virgin snow, I realized I was not only enjoying the photos, I was experiencing the Guru´s presence entering through my eyes and reaching the center of my heart.

The shining winter beauty of our beloved Shree Muktananda Ashram touches my heart deeply! I feel divinity and sacredness open my heart as I view each picture.

The blowing snow, the running water, the shifting rays of the sun all play upon the surfaces of the bridges, benches, and paths on the Ashram grounds, revealing to me the delight of movement despite the stillness in the depth of winter. Seeing this play of freedom and structure makes my heart soar.

I experience serenity in seeing how nature is not overwhelmed by the weight of the snow. Life goes on below the surface of the glorious, snow-covered Lake Nityananda. Birds come out and play. The Mother is taking care of her creation.

New Jersey, United States

I love these magnificent glimpses of silence—tangible, deep, nourishing silence. They help me pause and renew my perspective.

I wish to send warmth and gratitude to all who offer seva to provide me, and all of us, with these sights of glorious winter beauty.

Looking at the photos of the snow-covered Ashram landscape brought me peace of mind and awareness of my gratitude for Shri Gurumayi.

These extraordinary photographs let me experience the untouched purity of snow from afar. They remind me of the purity of the Self in all its brilliance.
