Whenever I think of God, I think of Baba ji. I have meditated many times in Baba’s Samadhi Shrine, where I experienced the love of God flowing through every cell of my physical body, as well as through the subtle dimensions within me. It was truly a blissful state.

I feel that Baba’s love lives within me as my inner Shri Guru. Yesterday, I simply touched his book Play of Consciousness, and my whole being was filled with immense love and bliss. I understand that love is God, and God is love.

Again and again, I bow to Baba ji. Again and again, I remember him, offer mental pranam, and glorify him with devotion.

My heart overflows with love and gratitude to Gurumayi ji for making these sacred teachings available to us through the Siddha Yoga path website.

I so love Baba’s teaching: “Every cell in your body should be filled with God’s love.”

When I was a child, I used to speak to God every night, and even though God didn’t speak back in words, I had the firm belief that God was listening closely. As I got older, I began to think that this was childish imagining and that possibly God did not exist after all.

I thought at the time that it didn’t matter. But more and more as the years went by, I felt the absence of a sense of deep purpose for being alive and of the magical feeling I had as a child. I began to pray intensely for this experience, seemingly beyond my own will because I wasn’t even sure if God was real. That is when I discovered the Siddha Yoga path.

When I received shaktipat-diksha, I experienced God communicating back to me a million times over in the form of light.

I cannot take for granted the amazing gift of experiencing the essence of God within my own being on a daily, moment-to-moment basis—thanks to the power of the Guru’s grace, teachings, and practices, which are alive with this light. These, for me, are the key to fulfilling my birthright, my most precious gift from God.

Recently, I experienced alternating good and bad days. Then, on May 16, Baba’s birthday, I took a walk on the beach.

It was not a normal day or a normal walk for me. It was highly charged with energy, color, form, and joy. I felt I was visiting Baba Muktananda’s heavenly state. The overwhelming gray, loving, solidly-stuffed clouds seemed like the gates of heaven. The emotion and the peace I felt “in every cell” of my body were not of this world either. Then, after several minutes, the bay became a normal place for me once again. It was beautiful, but no longer magical beyond the three dimensions.

Afterward, I walked, I floated, admiring it all—and I was very grateful, content, and speechless.

For me, reciting Shri Guru Gita—almost every day—is one of the best ways I have to implement this teaching of Baba’s. Reciting it also fills me with the Guru’s love, with those sweet, nourishing, vibrating waves of love radiating from my heart region to every part of myself.

Baba’s teaching and Ben’s elucidation sparked a deep question within me—how can it happen that “every cell” of my body could be “filled with God’s love”? The answer came swiftly: through uninterrupted spiritual practices. Also, by talking to God, hearing about God, thinking of God, breathing God, and living with God—every moment, every breath.

With Gurumayi’s grace and teachings as my anchor, this feels absolutely possible. My only part is to make a sincere, devoted effort, which will naturally draw grace, and grace will carry me the rest of the way. When I live inside the ocean of God’s love, that love soaks into “every cell”—quietly, completely.

As I sat with this contemplation, my body began to vibrate. Tears flowed without my knowing. For me, this is living proof that every word of Shri Guru is chaitanya, pure conscious energy.

I carried Baba’s teaching with me for a few days, wondering what I could do to ensure that “every cell” in my body was “filled with God’s love.”

During my meditation today, I suddenly felt energy running down my spine, then along my arms and right down to the tips of my toes. My whole body was flooded with a tingling energy. I realized that, for me, meditation is the way to be completely “filled with God’s love.”

My love, understanding, and respect for the practice of meditation have deepened once again.

This morning as I was practicing hatha yoga, Baba’s teaching became very tangible for me. With each breath and movement, I could sense the spark of God’s love shining in “every cell” of my body.

I also felt that same sacred presence in the other class participants. We were each moving in our own way, yet all flowing together in one vast ocean of Consciousness. In that moment, I felt deeply grateful and quietly aware of our unity.

As I was reading and contemplating Ben’s elucidation on Baba’s words that “Every cell in your body should be filled with God’s love,” I was drawn into my deeper inner realms. Then, as I contemplated Baba’s words, I experienced that my body was filled with innumerable scintillating, tiny blue dots, which were dancing with ecstasy and bliss.

Going deeper inside these blue dots, I saw that they turned into an effulgent blue light which was constantly moving upward into a blue column. As I was flowing with this column of light, it merged with the dancing Blue Pearl. When I opened my eyes, I was feeling so much love and joy that my face was beaming with a smile.

I am grateful to Shri Guru for bestowing the experience of love within this very body.

I took Baba’s teaching silently into my meditation. I found myself breathing God’s love deep into my belly with the syllable “Ham,” where it swirled and seemed to ignite in little sparks. As I breathed out, the syllable “sa” ushered me into an intimate, absolute stillness. I experienced I was receiving God’s love and offering it back to God’s creation with every breath.

After I finished meditating, I read Ben’s elucidation and felt totally ignited in wonder! When I read, “All worlds and all beings are shimmering emanations of Consciousness, ‘crystallizations’ of its blissful essence,“ I instantly recognized this as my experience from meditating on Baba’s teaching and felt a deep, overflowing gratitude.

Baba’s teaching led me to understand that love must expand in every cell of my body and then spread to the world around me.

This happened to me in my first meditation. My duty is to renew that experience in every moment of my life. For me, this means drinking love from the pure source of the heart and then letting that love flow through all my senses, experiencing the deep beauty of the universe.
