As soon as I read Baba’s teaching, “The mind should merge into its true nature, the inner Self,” my mind just stopped thinking and I felt filled with its essence. Every thought in me was full of Baba, and I felt at one with everything around me. I was full of bliss. This is the shakti in the Guru’s words!

    Aurangabad, India

Such short phrases for such life-changing teachings! I feel as if Baba hid treasures inside each word for us to discover, nowadays and in the future. I am so grateful to Baba for these gifts, which are precious gems in the hearts of Siddha Yogis.

Today when I performed arati after reciting Shri Guru Gita, my eyes closed and I saw a deep empty well, in which I was hanging by a rope. When I looked  down, I saw my enemies. When I looked up, I saw Baba ji holding the rope, pulling me upwards, smiling, and continuously blessing me.

Baba ji told me, “Hold the rope! This is the rope of satsang, meditation, and the recitation of Shri Guru Gita, all of which you need to do. As you do these, you climb this rope and will come to me.” My Baba ji was smiling, and I was filled with tremendous love and joy. I danced—and climbed that rope very high!

In reading these words from Baba Muktananda, I feel so full. Baba’s words are full of love and so touching that my gratitude to him is always constant. “Peace and strength” are gifts from Baba.

    Bangkok, Thailand

Inspired by this teaching of Baba’s, I make an effort to remain constantly aware of the Self, to repeat the mantra in harmony with my breath, and to nourish my mind with words of wisdom. When I feel calm and strong, I see that my mind is also calm and strong. When the winds of change blow over me, from that inner stillness I find solutions to turn the boat of my life in the right direction.

    Rodez, France

Baba’s teachings are so clear and straight to the point. By reading and contemplating them, I feel inspired to follow my spiritual practices with enthusiasm and to constantly remind myself to lead my mind back to the heart.

As an artist, when I read the sentence "Any discipline that enables the mind to become one with the Self is commendable," I feel inspired to create artworks that will uplift myself and others. Happy Birthday, Baba!
