There is so much in these five words.
Who can be everywhere? Only God, the Self. When I visualize Bhagavan Nityananda’s form, I enter into the divine. Since this divine presence exists wherever I am, Bhagavan Nityananda is always within me and around me, and he manifests as calmness.
During these warm days, I found this calmness when, at dusk, I admired the bright orange horizon under a dark blue sky adorned with the thin sliver of a crescent moon.

This powerful teaching for me seems so accessible, similar to the way the mantra often springs to my mind and heart in times of both distress and joy. I have made this teaching my own. I secretly smile to myself as I repeat it: “Be calm. I am everywhere.” I know Bade Baba is always with me.
This practice helped me recently, when my cat went missing. Even though I was agitated at times, I never gave up. When I finally tracked her down, she was under the floorboards of a house that was being renovated. She was too frightened to come out. So I sat and played the mantra on my mobile phone. After some time, she finally came out. Today she is safe, and all is calm. I am happy in the knowledge that grace will always see me through.

I remember reading this teaching previously. Every time I see or hear it, it makes me feel strong and sweet at the same time. Today I was even more impressed to see it written in such large letters. I can just feel Bade Baba looking at each of us and reassuring us, no matter what happens. I will always carry this special teaching inside me and in an outer form as well, and I am sure that any fear of mine will disappear.

I had been distressed at being unable to visit my elderly father in the hospital as he nears the end of his life. On reading Bade Baba's words, "Be calm. I am everywhere," I found myself drifting into a meditation where I clearly saw Bade Baba reclining next to my father's bed, gently stroking his head and comforting him. My distress vanished immediately as I felt Bade Baba was showing me that we are all everywhere, and thus I was able to comfort my father.
I will never forget this incredible gift.

Earlier this week I was hiking in the mountains. I was noticing the abundance of orange butterflies circling around and alighting on flowers. They were all so delightful. As I was finishing my hike and walking back toward my car, two brilliant blue birds darted across the path in front of me. They went so fast, I almost missed them, except for their exquisite coloring. “Ahhh,” I thought to myself. “Bade Baba, you are everywhere!”

Reflecting on this teaching from Bade Baba, I understand that I am never separate from the Self. I remember that the Self is omnipresent, not separate even from the part of me that believes itself to be separate. What a revelation! I feel deep gratitude for this experience.

The month of August is very special for me and was for my late husband too. Every year we would go to Ganeshpuri and participate in the celebration of Bhagavan Nityananda’s
punyatithi. I was missing being in Ganeshpuri this year, and then I read this teaching from Bade Baba. Immediately my mind calmed, and I felt his presence very strongly. Now I remember that he is with me always, and I feel so blessed.

I was in the express lane of a store, and getting rather impatient as the woman in front of me was taking a long time with multiple transactions. I keenly felt her agitation too, so I breathed deeply to relax myself. Then I heard within me Bade Baba's teaching, ”Be calm; I am everywhere,” and saw her surrounded by a bubble of what I can only describe as Bade Baba's love.
After I finished my own checkout and left the store, I saw her again outside, wondering aloud how she would be able to walk home with all the bags. I heard myself saying, "I'll give you a ride." It turned out that she lives only three blocks from me, so it was no effort at all on my part.
I felt that my offer served as a conduit for Bade Baba's love and protection to reach her. I realized that his presence and grace are spread through the world by our own small acts of compassion and service to one another.

I have often experienced time as a consuming force that never gives itself too generously. As a result, for every moment of time I have off from work, I try to "spend" it as well as I can.
Just now, as I was about to decide which task to give myself to, I read this simple teaching of Bade Baba's: “Be calm. I am everywhere.” The truth of this statement silenced all my mental chattering and pushed aside every hierarchy of importance, every idea of the perfect thing for me to do. Since God is everywhere, why fight with the reflection in the mirror?

Whenever I think of Bade Baba, I find myself mentally visiting one of his temples, either in Gurudev Siddha Peeth or Shree Muktananda Ashram. This morning, however, when I sat for meditation, this teaching suddenly came to mind, and I experienced for myself that, indeed, Bade Baba
is everywhere, in the form of divine light and love. I found myself immersed in that light and the love of my Shri Guru. When I came out of meditation, I was at peace and filled with contentment.

These simple words pronounced by Bhagavan Nityananda lead me into a subtle space, as subtle as the space at the end of each breath. When I read them, I remember Bade Baba’s voice, I visualize him in the Ganeshpuri countryside. Feeling his presence, I enter naturally into quietness.
Remembering the Guru everywhere and imbibing the Guru’s teachings are practices which keep me under the waves of the external world in the inner fullness of the Self.

My beloved Grandma will be one hundred years old in sixteen days. For those of us who love her, there’s a palpable energy of all that means to us. As I returned an email to my aunt and mother, I was guided strongly to add the word
calm before writing
love, and then my name at the end. I felt a strong and resounding calm in my inner being, my true Self, the core of being that supports me and my family with grace and peace and love. And then I saw this teaching of Bade Baba’s.

I have held and repeated these precious words of Bade Baba ever since I embraced them two years ago after first reading them on this website.
Whenever I am faced with an uncomfortable situation, I look up toward the vast sky, connect with the moving clouds and the sun's rays, take a deep breath in, and silently repeat: "Be calm. I am everywhere." I let the words sink deeply into my being, and what results is an immediate connection with my inner Self, and a feeling of grace enveloping me and guiding me. Peace and calmness follow.

Bade Baba's simple words, "Be calm. I am everywhere," are sweet as a lullaby, gentle to my ear, and a balm to my soul. I envision the inner witness, steady and unflappable, accepting, detached, and without tarnish.
With these words, Bade Baba reminds me that there is nothing other than the Guru—the Guru within and the Guru without—playing all roles.

I was agitated by some work issues today. I decided to meditate, and I sat quietly and internally asked Gurumayi for help. Instantly, I felt as if I was before Bade Babe in the Temple. I addressed a question to Bade Baba, and I heard his laughter within me.
I felt a flood of calm. It felt so good and so natural to be with him, receiving his wisdom and guidance. I realized that my struggle was driven by my desire for recognition and not by what was in my heart.
Tonight, reading these words from Bade Baba, I’ve resolved to take responsibility for my part in the issues, and to have the courage to follow my own heart.
