When I saw the beautiful Siddha Yoga Yantra for Birthday Bliss created by Gurumayi ji, I experienced deep peacefulness. To me, the petals of the yantra were indicating that I am in meditation and experiencing light in my heart. It felt as if the whole universe around me was also meditating.

    Chandrapur, India

This year I feel as though I am seeing the Birthday Bliss yantra in a much deeper way. To begin with, I have been able to better observe the fine details. Also, on one occasion, when my gaze and mind stayed fixed with steadfastness on the center of the yantra, I experienced a sense of love spreading out in all directions from the white bindu. Soon, it felt like I became one with this love.

    Pau, France

This morning, before chanting the namasankirtana of the day, I opened to the Siddha Yoga Yantra for Birthday Bliss on the Siddha Yoga path website. As I chanted, I focused on the yantra. After a short time, the center began to move and swirl and change.

To my heart’s delight and wonder, the shapes and colors danced harmoniously with different hues and depths. The yantra appeared to me as three-dimensional. I could at times see various forms take their seat in the center, including Lord Ganesha. Toward the end of the time, the center dissolved into light and then fire—fire dancing and glowing, surrounded by the circle of hearts. Although I was looking at the computer screen, I felt the experience had happened inside me.

I am filled with gratitude for the many ways Gurumayi has given me to connect with the Self in daily life.

I was feeling somewhat troubled today, facing an obstacle that was in the way of experiencing peace in my life, when I saw this precious gift from Gurumayi—this gorgeous yantra! It made me so happy!

As I focused on the center lotus, I immediately saw Lord Ganesh as the beautiful lotus. His body, made of petals, was vibrating! I felt he was telling me that he would help me remove the obstacle to experiencing peace once again.

    California, United States

This morning I was lying on the terrace enjoying the warmth of the sun. I closed my eyes and started visualizing the yantra given by Gurumayi on the occasion of Birthday Bliss. I slowly entered the four gates of the yantra one by one, then the eight petals and the circle of hearts. Then I prayed to Lord Ganesha and entered the seven petals and reached the white dot at the center. At this point I prayed to Gurumayi ji, “May the yantra protect me and take my awareness in the right direction.”

After some time I slowly opened my eyes. Lo and behold—patches of fresh white clouds were racing toward the sun. I was so excited because I felt my prayer was granted! I felt that my exuberant heart, filled with love and gratitude to Gurumayi ji, was moving with the clouds to the sun!

    Chitradurga, India

I am so grateful for Gurumayi’s gift of the Birthday Bliss yantra. When I first viewed the yantra before reading the text, I perceived Lord Ganesha within the middle area as the seven-petaled lotus. Then, when I read the introduction and learned that Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, is indeed the deity of the yantra, a profound release took place within me. My heart swelled with love. Tears flooded my eyes and ran down my cheeks. I felt filled with a renewed sense of hope, love, stillness, and clarity.

I am grateful for Gurumayi’s presence in my life. Every time I open my heart, she is right here!

Today I was inspired to meditate on this yantra. Its translucent form appealed to me and took me deep inside. In the lotus in the center, I began to perceive the form of Lord Ganesh. He sat in meditation, like a king, dispensing his blessings freely. I felt I had received a sacred gift!

Meditating on the Siddha Yoga Yantra for Birthday Bliss, I reach a state of absorption and quietude. The image of the yantra enters my heart and pulsates steadily there, within my throat, in the space of my third eye, and at the top of my head. It appears to act as a shield of protection, a receiver and amplifier of the Guru’s grace.

Closing my eyes, I allow its vibrations to take me deeper and deeper into the experience of my true identity with the ever-blissful Self. Opening my eyes, I behold the beauty and serenity of nature. My heart expands, sending out love in response to the bounty and bliss bestowed upon me in this precious moment—and always.

    Washington, United States

This morning, I was thinking of all the tasks I have to do today, and my mind was full. As I looked at the beautiful birthday yantra, my mind stopped. I started to breathe deeply. I was directly reconnected to my heart, and I felt peace, sweetness, and love.

I realized that I only have to breathe and focus on one task at a time. To offer my heart to what I am doing, I only need to be present with the mantra.

St. Bauzille de la Sylve, France

I first noticed the small hearts connected in a circle, and I remembered the connection of Gurumayi’s love for me and all of her devotees. This thought opened my heart with great love. Then it seemed that the outer petals began to pulsate, and my heart felt the throb of the pulsating petals. Finally, my eyes were drawn to the center. I felt my Guru, the center of my universe, was there, sending out so much love.

Looking at the yantra today, I was truly amazed to experience the depth and expanse of love, beauty, and compassion it communicates. It has become a living symbol of the Guru’s generosity and sweetness for me. I was moved to tears as I let this recognition in.

This experience helps me see the impact of engaging with the Siddha Yoga website for the past year. I am looking at the same yantra, a year later, but am able to perceive—and receive—so much more.

    Kentucky, United States

Last night, a prayer rose up from inside me: “May I enter the heart of the universe.” In that moment, I saw and felt a spark of connection between my own heart, the hearts of other people, and the Heart—the spark of divinity—inside every atom of this universe. It was a beautiful experience but, as often happens in this busy life, I quickly forgot about it.

When I visited the Siddha Yoga path website this morning and saw Gurumayi’s beautiful yantra, I instantly remembered my prayer—to enter the heart of the universe. My own heart vibrated softly with the yantra’s gentle colors, and the nila bindu at the center reminded me of the spark of divinity I had briefly perceived inside every atom of the universe. What a beautiful mirror and reflection.

    Massachusetts, United States

When I first meditated on this exquisite yantra, my inner gaze went from the nila bindu at the center, to the bhupura enclosing it, and then back to the center. A rhythmic pulsation of unconditional love and deep contentment began to unfold, dissolving all boundaries, within and without, through the in-breath and out-breath. Formless and form became one in the abode of peace in my heart. I experienced the longing to tap into this inner source of love again and again.
