This verse from the Kularnava Tantra reminded me of a vivid dream I once had, after a distressing phone call. In the dream I sat on the floor doing abhisheka to a crystal shiva lingam while repeating the mantra. Baba was the pujari and instructing me. In the dream it became clear to me that the Guru, the mantra, God, and the Self were one. The next morning I remembered the previous night’s phone call, but it hardly bothered me any more. Such is the power of a vision of the Guru.
