As I began to meditate during this session, worries from my daily life kept popping up. Yet, Hamsa kept popping up too. Slowly, I became aware of the power of Hamsa. This took me to a state of being where I felt no judgment, no worries. I experienced freedom.

During the most recent Meditation Session, I used the virtue of steadfastness in meditation. Afterwards, I was inspired to write this sonnet:

O, steadfast friend, foundation of my life,
My staunch support in hazard, woe, and strife.
Upholding me whatever be my choice,
My private strength, my very public voice.
You came to me the moment I was born,
Will stay until my soul is rudely torn
From out this body; for you are the glue
That binds my soul to Earth and me to you.
My worldly life is measured by the span
From that first breath with which our bond began,
Until my final gasp of fusty air
Dissolves that marriage bond beyond repair.
O steadfast friend, O faithful trusty Breath,
Stay true, I pray, until we part at death.

Each Meditation Session opens a new vista of the mind before me and deepens my practice of meditation, giving me experiences of peace, tranquility, and contentment.

Since I received Gurumayi`s Message for 2019, I have been wondering how I can make my Siddha Yoga practices fresh and new every day so that my mind can engage with them with enthusiasm and vigor. In this Meditation Session VI, I received guidance on how to do this.

I am grateful for the meditation sessions, which support me in experiencing and imbibing the teachings in Gurumayi’s Message in subtle and beautiful ways.

Whenever I participate in this Meditation Session, my meditations are always deep. I love the simplicity, yet the precision of the guidance. The teacher has succeeded in bringing freshness into the details of her style and her selection of words. It is as if the Meditation Session has been invigorated, or a breeze of fresh air has been infused through it. It is lively, joyful, and inspiring—the perfect way to start the day!

With each meditation session for 2019, I am finding ways to go deeper into my understanding of the teachings and practices. I wake up each day to new insights. At the end of Meditation Session VI, my heart was filled with gratitude for the gentle guidance I am receiving.

This session filled me with joy! The teachings were imparted with enthusiasm and pure conviction, and I feel motivated to focus on the virtues in the coming days.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for sharing this radiant gem with all of us!

Participating in this Meditation Session was a powerful experience for me as it was woven so intricately with practicing the teachings Gurumayi imparted in her Message for this year. The session also gave me tangible ways of how to nourish the sadguna, my own virtues, to prepare myself to hold the knowledge of the Self.

I feel my daily practice of meditation has been refreshed. In the days to come, I will continue my practice of focusing on the sadguna as one of the ways to celebrate Birthday Bliss 2019.
