When I noted down in my journal the teachings on “Toward Love…” that I wanted to contemplate in the following days, I discovered the pictures of Gurumayi in the Temple in front of Bade Baba’s
murti. This was a midnight discovery!
Having Gurumayi’s
darshan, I became speechless. My breathing slowed down, and many emotions blurred my vision. I felt humble, grateful, and content. I understood from these pictures the meaning of love and the power of offering love.
And so, at the midnight hour, in the silence of the night, I found myself absorbed in divine love.

In one of these radiant images, I see Gurumayi—the embodiment of love and Truth—modeling how to offer in such a way that the merits of the offering bless everyone and everything. When I hold this image in my consciousness, I am inspired to offer myself for the upliftment of all. When I do so, the limited me is transformed, with Gurumayi’s grace, into love.

This fascinating journey of “Toward Love…,” created by the golden teachings of Gurumayi, has led me to the crystal of my heart where the Guru dwells. Meditation on Shri Guru guides me toward love.
The Temple of Bhagavan Nityananda reflects the wonder of my inner space. Clothed in red, the color of love, Bade Baba and Gurumayi reactivate my awareness of the Guru as the embodiment of divine love.

As I read each of Gurumayi’s teachings on “Toward Love…,” I found myself slowing right down in a most exquisite way, drawn to the fullness, the infinitely rich depths of each teaching. I was pulled by love “toward love.”
Now, on the fifteenth day I delight in this beautiful surprise darshan of Gurumayi and Bade Baba. In silence the offering of love, the giving and receiving of love, the delighting in love. For me this is the perfect gift at the perfect time.

Again and again I am coming back to this
darshan of Gurumayi and Bade Baba. In the middle of the night at 2 a.m., I woke up and found a text from a Siddha Yoga friend about these photos. Immediately, I opened to the Siddha Yoga path website and was mesmerized by this priceless
darshan. Throughout the night, after waking up, and till now, I keep opening these images to take a journey to my heart through this
darshan. Love for my beloved Gurumayi is flowing through my being by experiencing her love through this
darshan.

This image of Gurumayi offering to Bhagavan Nityananda is so inspiring and fulfilling for me: the Guru who is also the disciple; the glass heart-shaped container of gardenias as a transparent, authentic heart; Bhagavan Nityananda, who returned to this earth to uplift us and who continues to uplift us; the honor of being included in this sacred Temple; Gurumayi’s meritorious offering for the world. It’s love meeting love.

I have been journaling these last couple of days—contemplating the “Toward Love…” teachings, writing down my thoughts and responses, bringing in clarity, bringing in light, bringing in gratitude. And this morning I discovered the little rose of divine love bringing forth Gurumayi’s darshan. I am so grateful.
