On the evening of Baba Muktananda’s Lunar Mahasamadhi, we were blessed with clear skies to view the supermoon. So, I went up to the roof to chant Om Namo Bhagavate Muktanandaya. As I did so, I had a profound experience of my ego dissolving into A Temple of Light. All the tension in my being disappeared, replaced by a sense of peaceful bliss. This feels like a wonderful part of my preparation to participate in the upcoming Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive.

This past summer, I offered seva in Shree Muktananda Ashram. Toward the end of my time there, I became aware that my body was a temple filled with light. I experienced this temple as overflowing with the light of scintillating Consciousness. I felt lighthearted, serene, content, and loving.

This experience of light was both a feeling of being completely full and at the same time empty—empty of anything that weighed me down. When I returned home, I experienced that a sense of great clarity continued to arise from this temple of light within me.

Since then, I still enter this temple of light when I meditate, when I go before my puja, and when I pause to experience the divinity in nature.
