Each year as spring arrives, I feel that I can observe “the reviving power of time” taking place in the midst of nature. Also, I experience that the prana activated by meditation and other Siddha Yoga practices enables my soul to enter into and experience a permanent springtime.

As I strive to assimilate the teachings of my Guru, I allow the divine sap of the universe to flow in my being. I experience that, as I perform my sadhana, Kundalini Shakti springs into my life from its inexhaustible source through the Guru’s grace. In this way, I can draw divine energy through my spiritual practices, and then I can pour this energy into my other activities. When I get involved in this process, I believe that I am engaging with “the reviving power of time.”

As I was contemplating this teaching “The reviving power of time,” what came to mind for me was that it relates to nature and the breath. When I’m fully present in nature, or when I consciously focus on my breath, I believe that I can experience “the reviving power of time.”

Exploring this insight is giving me ideas for activities that I can engage in in order to give me greater strength and energy, to enable me to connect with the Self, and to ensure I make the best use of my time.

This is one of my favorite aspects of time! When I am tired or ill or feeling out of sorts, I always know that with the passage of time and taking care of myself, I will feel better. “The reviving power of time” brings me back to a state of well-being again and again. For me, it is a form of grace.

I have experienced “the reviving power of time” in meditation. In daily life I notice that my mind is often focused on the past or the future. In meditation I have had the experience of the expansiveness of now reaching forever to infinity in the present moment. That feeling of expansive freedom revives my being with an aliveness that brings me great joy.
