Am I experiencing time as nectar, as the sweetest gift, the nourishment of the divine? As I contemplated this question, time became nectar and stopped me in my tracks, inviting me to revisit the month’s generosity of teachings from Gurumayi, including “The truth of time,” “The beauty of time,” “The illuminations of time,” and “The reviving power of time.” I realized that my experience of time takes on whatever characteristics I choose, support, allow, invite, nourish.

I am filled with gratitude for these precious teachings that bring me back day-by-day to cherish the gift of time, to see it from the highest perspective, and to revel in its nectarean presence as I endeavor to make the best use of it.

I experienced “the nectar of time” today as the rose-colored dawn sky, the lighting of a flame for worship, and the tender current of love and forgiveness that fills my being. Because time is always new, always fresh, I, too, can begin again each moment. I feel this “nectar of time” is available to me constantly.

In meditation this morning, I repeated Gurumayi’s teaching for today, “The nectar of time.” I savored the sweetness of each moment as I sat to meditate. I received this inner guidance: if anything takes place during the day that disturbs my stillness, look for something uplifting in that moment and savor the sweet nectar of time.
