One day, as I was offering seva in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, my eyes suddenly saw a dreamlike landscape. Amidst the vegetation, I saw the pyramid shape of the temple to Lord Shiva, the Yajna Mandap with its majestic architecture, the wishing well, and farther away, the statues of several Siddhas, who seemed to me to be absorbed in a gentle silence.

Looking at it as a whole, I realized that this landscape came into existence thanks to the vision Baba Muktananda had many years ago. I was touched by Baba’s great love for his Guru, for God, and for humanity. I felt that through “the treasure of time,” Baba’s vision has become a living legacy. It was as if time itself was revealing to me the treasure of this sublime beauty. I want to contribute to preserving it by offering dakshina.

The diamond of being in the present moment

I have been brought by grace into the presence of time,
    to experience how generous,
    loving, and warming time is.
It is always by my side, my companion.

    Being in the present moment,
    I experience great freedom.
There is no burden of the past,
    no worry about the future.

The moment I met my Guru,
    I found my Self.
The still moment between the in-breath and the out-breath
    shows me the ever-present I.
    The moment I embrace silence,
I rest in my heart and feel the presence of God.

I have found a diamond of immense value!
The diamond of being in the present moment.
