I experience “the freshness of time” when I remember a moment I shared with Baba or Gurumayi, when I am absorbed in the Siddha Yoga practices, when I give myself fully to the person or task in front of me, and when I become absorbed in nature. The longer I am on this precious path, the more my longing grows to be absorbed all the time in the Self. More and more I realize that the Self is always present, always available within and around me and that, with remembrance, I can experience “the freshness of time” in each moment.

Learning to be a servant of time
    I am grateful to time
for the gift of each new day.
I awaken with a gentle and renewed spirit
as I am patiently nurtured and guided by time.

I am also grateful to time
    for being so sweetly honest
and letting me know when I am out of tune.
Each morning, I look at the palms of my hands
to know what I can do.

I want to become a servant of time
and just be in each fresh moment!
