“The beneficence of time” reminds me that time is ever so generous! I feel it gives me plenty of opportunities to know God, plenty of second chances to learn the lessons I must learn in order to reach true freedom. This teaching fills me with the understanding and conviction that time has my best interest in mind—that time is indeed on my side.

Time in its “beneficence” has taught me to be kinder, more forgiving, more compassionate, and less judgmental of myself and others. For me, the world is becoming a screen that reflects what I need to learn, integrate, and apply in my life and sadhana. With increased courage, I am learning to embrace new challenges, and over time I feel more love for myself and others.

With the support of Gurumayi’s grace and teachings, I have become the person I have always wanted to be. Yet what I find exciting about this teaching “The beneficence of time” is that there is always more to learn, always another opportunity to go deeper on this beautiful, mystical, and practical adventure.

In “The beneficence of time,” I see that there is the gift of life, the gift of love, the auspicious gift of diksha. There is the incomparable gift of grace—in time, with time, through time.
