Today I experienced how the artwork for March—the exquisitely colored rocks beneath a clear lake surface—perfectly illustrates for me Gurumayi’s teaching “The charm of time.”

I reflected how, over time, my perception has been transformed and clarified through Siddha Yoga sadhana, so that I am now more able to see the beauty and perfection of friends, family, myself, and the various aspects of my life. The colors of the rocks affect me deeply: dark peach, purple, cobalt blue, gold, and pink. So too, I am seeing new colors of the Self in what I once found a challenge to accept about the past and the present.

I know that as “the charm of time” continues into a “future,” the waters of my being will become clearer and clearer as I create beauty through right thinking, study, meditation, and love.

“The charm of time” is a magical teaching! It suggests to me how time seems to provide a doorway through which—supported by my self-effort and Guru’s grace—healing, opportunity, knowledge, and love can emerge.

Through my contemplations on Gurumayi’s teachings on time, I find my gratitude for time growing.
