When I make good use of time, it is golden, and I can feel the shakti enveloping me in peace and well-being.

As I repeat “the goldenness of time” to myself, the golden murti of Bade Baba in the Temple appears on the screen of my mind. His soft, loving presence fills me completely, and I revel in this experience. I feel his smile is golden and his breath is golden. A golden hue radiates from his being, and I feel his presence in my heart. Ahh! I experience the goldenness of these moments with Bade Baba.

Shifting my priorities and choosing to give time a value equal to gold created a change in my consciousness. Now that I have aged into my seventies healthfully, I appreciate time as a limited commodity. I say “Yes” to life, when in the past I might have said “No.” I choose love hourly instead of daily. I surrender to what is and praise the preciousness of knowing that we are all one. My daily life has a consciousness of love, appreciation, and gratitude.

For me “The goldenness of time” is an unshakable and strong pull to the time I spent offering seva in Gurudev Siddha Peeth. As I remember that auspicious time, I thread it through to the present. It is a stream of golden light, beaming through time, from back then to now. It is a continuum—a golden highway of time—woven through connectedness, grace, and years.

“The goldenness of time” evokes for me an experience I had after a loved one passed away. I felt we were held together in the golden arms of the Divine Mother, with so much tenderness, in the timeless womb of golden love.

“The goldenness of time” transports me to the golden light of Kundalini Shakti that I see rising within me.
