For me, the monsoon and Gurupurnima complement each other perfectly. Here in India, nature’s blessings come with the rain, and everything appears more peaceful, indrawn, and divine.
As I look at this gallery, this special time at Shree Muktananda Ashram comes to life, and I realize why my meditation practice has become deeper. The mantra Om Namah Shivaya
begins within me, I close my eyes, and soon I’m in the state of the blissful Self.

The picture of the rain coming down on the top of the Bhagawan Nityananda Temple evoked deep awe in me. It reminded me of the strong, cleansing monsoon rains that I experienced in Gurudev Siddha Peeth. What a beautiful image for this auspicious time of Gurupurnima
—the Guru's grace showering down like the monsoon rain—powerful, rejuvenating, stilling, and sparkling with light.
