Are there recommended web browsers and internet speed?
The recommended internet browsers are Firefox and Google Chrome. The minimum recommended internet speed is 4 Mbps. For lower internet speeds, you will be able to participate with lower video resolution and you may experience pauses or break up of the stream.
The timer on the player is moving, but I don't hear any sound. What should I do?
Check that the speakers are turned on and the volume is turned up. Also check that the audio settings in your computer or mobile device are not muted. If this problem occurs while using the Safari web browser, try using Firefox or Chrome.
How do I change the visual quality of the live video stream?
The visual quality of the live stream will automatically adjust according to your internet bandwidth. However, if you want to change the visual quality, click on the settings icon in the lower right corner of the player. A dropdown showing your current visual quality (next to Auto) and other resolutions (240p, 480p, 720p, 1080p) will appear. Choose a higher resolution if the still images are flickering, and choose a lower resolution if the stream stops or does not load properly. The resolution selection only influences visual quality; the audio quality is the same for all settings.
May I pause the webcast?
Yes, you can pause the webcast.
