I want to share my gratitude for the Guru’s grace. As I meditated on the unwavering flame of the Self—a vision that has frequently reminded me of the courage and radiance within my heart—the Guru’s grace guided me to another beautiful vision. This vision, which showed an abundance of greens and blues in nature, reminded me of the many radiant flames that God has placed all around me, and that also burn in my heart as eternal Consciousness.

In my mind I have struggled with difficult emotions for much of my life. For many years, this samskara seemed like a burden, like something to be overcome. Yet today, I realized that it was my troubled mind that brought me to the Guru and to the Self. My mind gave me my wake-up call to God.

By the grace of the Guru, my mind now truly does rest in the Self. I am so grateful to my beloved Guru for awakening me to the joy within.
